Uniwater — Wellness starts with clean water
Three Uniwater whole-house vessels on a residential terrace at sunset.

Why Uniwater

The water company that stays.

We’re not a kitchen-purifier brand. We’re not an industrial EPC firm. We sit in between — engineered home water for the homes you don’t get to redo.

The category

Between two categories that don’t fit.

India has two visible water-treatment categories: kitchen-purifier brands (Aquaguard, Kent, Zero B, Eureka Forbes) and industrial EPC firms. Mass-distributed single-tap on one end; project-based, unnamed install teams on the other.

Neither serves the premium homeowner who wants every tap, every appliance, and the next decade of upkeep handled by one team. That’s the gap Uniwater built into.

Engineered home water. Surveyed, installed, and serviced for the long term.

The three claims

Three things. We repeat them across every page.

Claim 01

Engineered, not bought off a shelf.

Every Uniwater system starts from a survey of your actual water, pressure, usage, and space. Catalogue sizes are starting points, not the sale.

Claim 02

Hidden, not displayed.

Equipment goes in false ceilings, plumbing shafts, behind cabinets, below counters, or outside windows — wherever it disappears.

Claim 03

Serviced monthly, not on complaint.

An engineer visits every month for the life of the contract. Automation handles routine cycles; humans handle inspection, calibration, and the unexpected.

System selector

Which Uniwater system does your water need?

Three branches by water need. Every leaf is a real Uniwater product. Categories that fit below each need are named in the footnotes — we’re honest about when we’re not the right answer.

The root question
What does your water need treated?
Branch 01

Drinking water only

The kitchen tap. The water people drink, not the water they shower in.

Sub-fork

One family, one kitchen

Test the TDS first.

UF + UV
Below 200 ppm. Pathogens go, minerals stay.
Test & consult
200–500 ppm. Borderline.
RO + UV
Above 500 ppm. Borewells. Mineral correction.
Sub-fork

Centralised drinking for an office, school, hotel, hospital

Daily volume decides the system.

Centralised RO
25 / 50 / 100 LPH for institutions.
Commercial RO
500 to 50,000 LPH for large supply.
Below this need
Point-of-use cartridge filters

e.g. tap-mount and shower-head filters on Amazon (₹1K–4K). They don’t reduce TDS or hardness; they sequester it. DIY install, 6-month cartridge swap. Honest about what they can’t do.

Branch 02

Whole bathroom, whole house

Soft water at every shower, every sink, every appliance.

Sub-fork

One bathroom — high demand or visible install

Sized to the bathroom’s load.

BathSoft Mono
Single shower. Standard CP.
BathSoft Duo
Rain shower + jets, or two together.
BathSoft Trio
Steam, jacuzzi, multiple outlets.
Sub-fork

Whole house — villa, multi-bath, borewell or variable supply

Sediment → iron → carbon → softener. Sized to the home.

HomeSoft 2K
3–4 bathrooms.
HomeSoft 4K
5–6 bathrooms, small villas.
HomeSoft 6K
Large villas, duplexes.
Below this need
Mass-market residential softeners

e.g. dealer-sold ion-exchange softeners from large home-appliance brands (₹15K–60K). Real softening. Service depends on the dealer. Often not tuned for borewell-fed homes or multi-stage treatment.

Branch 03

A building, a hotel, a hospital, a complex

Every flat, every room, every floor. Treated once, at the inlet.

Sub-fork

Sized for the load

Specified after site survey and water analysis.

WTP 8K
Small complexes, mid-rise. Boutique hotels.
WTP 12K
Mid-size societies, schools. Hospitals to 100 beds.
WTP 18K
Large complexes, hospitality. Mid-size institutions.
WTP 24K
Large mixed-use, large hotels. Campuses.
WTP 30K
Industrial campuses, multi-block developments.
Below this need
Local plumbing contractor with generic vessels

Works if your in-house plant team will own service, resin, salt, and consumables for fifteen years. Stops working when the team turns over.

Why we’re different

What most water companies do. What we do.

The market sells systems. We sell the four things a system actually needs over its lifetime — a survey, the right design, an install that fits the house, and a service crew that does not change.

How they price

What most sellers do

Quote first. Fit the catalogue SKU to the buyer. The water analysis comes after the sale, if at all.

What Uniwater does

Survey first. Test the water, map the plumbing, size the household. Then quote — to the specific water, not a generic SKU.

Who installs

What most sellers do

Local plumbers on commission, swapped each visit. The sales person never sees the install.

What Uniwater does

A Uniwater engineer designs the system and the same team installs it. The person who quoted is on site at handover.

After handover

What most sellers do

AMC at a flat rate. Service when something breaks. The engineer is a stranger to your system.

What Uniwater does

Monthly visit, every month, for the life of the contract. The same team owns the system. Service is the system.

When water chemistry changes

What most sellers do

Resin clogs in year two. Output drops. You assume the unit failed. Buy a new one.

What Uniwater does

Monthly report flags the drift. Media swapped, settings adjusted, sequence verified — under the contract, not as an extra.

How we compare

Which brand is right for which problem?

We’ll be honest. Uniwater is not the right answer for every household. Here’s a frank decision tree.

Single tap, drinking water only, municipal supply
A Kent / Aquaguard / Zero B kitchen RO is fine.

For a single tap on a stable municipal supply, mass-market kitchen RO does the job. Don’t overspend.

Hair / skin / fittings problems, no kitchen drinking-water issue
BathSoft or HomeSoft — Uniwater is the right fit.

Kitchen-purifier brands don’t address bathroom water. Whole-house and bathroom-level treatment is our category.

Borewell water with iron, hardness, and orange staining
HomeSoft 2K–6K LPH, with iron pre-treatment — Uniwater.

Borewell chemistry needs sequence: iron first, then softening, then carbon. Kent / Aquaguard don’t sell this.

You want monthly service with documented reports
Uniwater. Comprehensive AMC.

Eureka Forbes offers AMC tiers but doesn’t include monthly visits. Zero B services on demand. Monthly proactive service is our differentiator.

Building / hotel / hospital / factory water requirement
Uniwater for engineered RO/DM/WTP; industrial EPC firm for very large turnkey projects.

We engineer up to 50,000 LPH RO, 10,000 LPH DM, 100 KLD WTP. For petrochemical-scale or municipal, the right answer is a tier-one EPC firm.

Lowest price, online order, no install or service expected
Mass-market online brand. Not Uniwater.

We don’t sell off-the-shelf. Every system is surveyed and sized. Survey-led is friction by design — it’s the wrong brand if you don’t want it.

What we don’t claim

The things you won’t hear from us.

A premium-positioned brand earns trust partly by what it refuses to say. Here’s our list.

  • Lowest price.

Wrong audience. Premium homeowners expect good things to cost money.

  • Largest range.

Internal pride. Translates to: 100+ engineered configurations — surveyed to your home.

  • Patented technology.

Engineer-led brands don’t lead with branded acronyms. We use technical names where they earn trust.

  • #1 in India.

Aquaguard owns that category claim. We don’t compete on it.

  • Exchange offers / 20% off.

Mass-market signalling. We don’t discount; we survey.

Components from

The names on the parts.

We don’t make pumps, resin, or membranes. We integrate from vendors the industry trusts — and we name them on every quote.

Wilo
Grundfos
ResinTech
Katalox
Hydranautics
Dow
LG Chem
Tulsion
Ionex

Pumps, resin, media, membranes, controls — specified per system at survey, never substituted post-quote.
